Thirty-two people declared their commitment to Jesus by being baptized at our picnic and baptisms on Sunday, August 25th. We were excited to have our sisters and brothers from Iglesia Cristiana Centrados en el Evangelio church from join us and baptize four of their own. We are humbled to see God at work in the lives of those around us and hope you take a moment to read their stories and praise God for how He is rescuing and restoring.

The power of the good news of Jesus demands a response in those who hear it and accept it. And that is just what we’ve seen recently as people choose to be baptized as a sign of their commitment to live with Jesus as king of their lives. On July 4th, at Rocky Point in Warwick, the Nashed family and friends gathered together and stepped into the waters of Narragansett Bay expressing their faith in and commitment to Jesus. Read their baptism stories in their own words.

Summer thunderstorms may have cancelled the picnic, but after our morning services, we gathered at Crescent Park before the rain and 15 people professed their commitment to Jesus and were baptized.
