Giving

When you give, you support God’s kingdom work here through the ministries of BridgePointe.

The Rising Tide generosity initiative will last two years, from March 29, 2026 through April 2028. During that time every gift given will be used to support ongoing ministry and to invest in the vision God has given us for the future. Rather than separating these priorities, they will be unified under a single budget.

We invite you to prayerfully join us to take a sacrificial step of generosity, as together we respond to God’s great work among us.

Take a step on your generosity journey.

We want something for you, not from you. We want you to move closer to God and experience more of Him in your life. Generosity is like a journey and a person moves closer to God with each step. We want to provide resources and support as you take steps and celebrate with you along the way.

  • God instructed people to give a tithe when He was first defining His relationship with His people (Leviticus 27:30-33). Tithing meant giving God the first 10% of whatever they received as a way to recognize that everything come from God and belongs to Him. The people of the Old Testament practiced a tithe for thousands of years. Jesus affirmed the tithe (Matthew 23:33) and the first Christians showed that this was just the beginning of their generous response to all that Jesus has done for us (Acts 4:32-25, 2 Corinthians9:6-8).

In both cases, God intended for the tithe to be the primary way that the needs of His faith community are met through the generosity of His people. We believe that tithing to the church is consistent with the generosity instructed by God, affirmed by Jesus, and practiced by the first Christians. Tithing is a great starting point to trust God and contribute to His work through the church.
