First 15 Guide - 1 & 2 Samuel

In the series A Heart Like His during the month of February, we are looking at the life of David. Each week, we will look at four different events from his life that reveal how he was "a man after God's own heart."

First 15 Guide - Daniel

This week we wrap up our God Is... message series with a First 15 Guide for the book of Daniel. This amazing book follows the adventures of a few good men with tenacious, unstoppable, unwavering faith. On Sunday we had a glimpse into the book of Daniel and discovered together that God Is Able by looking at three powerful stories. We hope this guide helps you experience for yourself the God who is able to give you help now and hope forever

First 15 Guide - Habakkuk

This week's devotional guide is for the book of Habakkuk.  We hope this guide can help you make the most of time with God each day.  Missed the message - you can listen here.

Can God be trusted?  This is the question Habakkuk wrestles with as he served God as a prophet during an exceptionally difficult time in Israel's history.  Habbakkuk is angry and frustrated by what he sees around him, and confused by what he perceives as God's inaction.  In an honest and open exchange with God, Habakkuk becomes convinced of God's trustworthiness, despite the state of life around him.

For us, this book is a challenge to trust God even when we don't understand what He's doing, and a reminder that God is good even when life isn't.

First 15 Guide - Hosea

God-Is-Faithful-2.jpg

Here is the Devotional Guide for the book of Hosea, as a part of week two in our God Is... series.  This week we look at how God offers the nation of Israel a picture of unfailing faithfulness through the life of the prophet Hosea.

God called His servant Hosea to marry an unfaithful woman and continue to welcome her in his home. This was as unimaginable then as it is now. With Hosea’s undeserved faithfulness as the backdrop, God reminds Israel of His own faithfulness in the midst of their idolatry, sin, and rebellion.

Like Israel, our faithfulness is inconsistent at best. But God’s faithfulness is not dependent on us. He never gives up on us and always welcomes us home. In fact, He loves faithfully with the hope that we will be won back by His never-stopping love.  It is our prayer that as we study God's faithfulness to us this week, we can respond with renewed faithfulness of our own.
