During services on December 15th, members of the BP Family were privileged to witness and celebrate the baptisms of Brian and Leah as they expressed their faith and commitment to following Jesus. Join us in celebrating by reading their baptism stories and praying for their journey as disciples.
On Sunday, November 17, we celebrated the commitment of six families to raise their children to know and love Jesus. It’s a special moment in their families, and for all of us in our BP Family as well. Celebrate with us and pray for these parents and their children!
On Sunday, November 10th, BridgePointe said goodbye to one of our Shepherds, Dave Halligan. Dave and his wife, Pam, have served in various roles over the last couple of years, caring for our BP family. Over the summer, they sensed that God was calling them to care for the spiritual walk of their children and grandchildren in a new way. This fall has been one of energy and growth for the student ministry at BridgePointe: we had our largest student event with 85 students attending Flannel Fest, and our largest mid-week gathering a couple of weeks ago with 74 students in attendance! Watching God at work among our youth has been truly inspiring, and we’re excited to share some updates and opportunities with you.
At our August Picnic & Baptisms, sixteen people were baptized to show their commitment to live with Jesus as King. We had a great night together picnicking and witnessing families baptizing children, a mother being baptized after her son praying faithfully for her for 13 years, and even a woman who attended BridgePointe on an invitation for the first time and being compelled to be baptized as an expression of faith in Jesus.
