In short, there is no difference. Rising Tide initiative is a two-year giving initiative from March 29, 2026 to April 2028. So, when you give your tithes and offerings to BridgePointe, you are giving to Rising Tide. This initiative does not replace tithes and offerings—it includes them.

The staff team prepares an annual budget that is submitted to the Administrative Leadership Team (ALT) and the Shepherd Team for review. The ALT reviews proposals and financial projections to make sure that the budget is financially healthy. Approved budgets are then submitted to the shepherds for approval. 

Our financial policies and reports  are also reviewed by an external accountant.

The commitment card is a tool that can help you prayerfully decide how to participate in Rising Tide. Keep an eye out for more details on how to fill out the commitment card.

Second, it greatly helps us in our budgeting and planning process. It helps us to know which projects are viable as we want to ensure we can responsibly cover our costs.

One hundred percent participation means that we desire everyone who calls BridgePointe home to ask God how He would have them participate and respond with generosity and sacrifice. It means each of us saying “yes” to the impact and legacy of the Gospel with generosity towards God’s work through the church.

The Rising Tide generosity initiative is from March 29, 2026 to April 2028. You can start or update your giving at any time.
