Welcome to Rising Tide
Over the last 13 years, we’ve seen the rising tide of God’s work in and around the BridgePointe family. We see it in decisions to follow Jesus, rediscovery of love for the church, faith emerging in the next generation, and the renewal of the Kingdom of God in our lives and communities.
I am convinced that God has much more in store for us:
More people to reach with the Good News of Jesus.
More communities to impact with His love.
More churches to plant.
More of the next generation to raise up in faith.
There is a unique opportunity before us to expand our capacity
and increase our impact for generations to come. But this will take all of us, rising to the occasion, with generosity and sacrifice, to see the fullness of what God can do through us.
I can see a tide rising all around us and it’s time for us to get ready for it.

Vision
Rising Tide is a two-year generosity initiative calling for the people of BridgePointe to respond to what God has already done and to prepare for what God is yet to do with increased faith and expanded generosity.
We believe God has more in store for this church, and the greatest obstacle we are facing is the limitations of our current space. We are asking God to provide a long-term facility for us to purchase here in East Providence, that would position us for increased Kingdom impact.
We are praying for a building that would enable us to:
Double our capacity to reach people
Increase our Kingdom impact in the heart of the East Bay
Sustainably multiply locations or churches throughout Rhode Island
As the work of God increases among us, so must our faith in God and our generosity to His work. It’s going to take all of us seeking the Lord, surrendering to Him, doing what He calls each of us to do.
100% Partcipation
Our primary goal in Rising Tide is to engage anyone who calls BridgePointe home to take a step of faith and grow in their generosity.
Anytime our faith grows, it is because of people who have come before us. People who chose to pray, to share, to invite, to serve, and to give. Our faith grows out of their investment. We want to be a church that does the same for the people coming after us.
Rising Tide is an opportunity for each of us to say ‘yes’ to the impact and legacy of the Gospel with generosity toward God’s work through the church. The goal of this initiative is for all who belong to BridgePointe to say ‘yes’ by anticipating with us the great things God will do and participating with us in the expression of generosity that is needed to make it a reality.
5 Million Over 2 Years
From March 29, 2026 through April 2028, every gift given will be used for ongoing ministry and to invest in the vision God has given us for the future.
Our secondary goal is for us to collectively give a total of $5 million over two years, to be stewarded in the following way:
$500,000 (10%) for outreach and church planting
$2,000,000 for a two-year operating budget to support BP ministries
$2,500,000 for facility funds for purchase and/or expansion
How This Works
BridgePointe’s Rising Tide Initiative is a two-year journey of faith and generosity in response to God’s work around us. Every gift given during this time will support both our ongoing ministry efforts and the future vision God has placed before us. Rather than separating these priorities, they will be unified under a single budget.
What’s Next
We invite you to ask God how He would have you participate, to take a sacrificial step of generosity, and anticipate with us the great things that God will do as we respond to His work in faith.
