December 29th is our Sabbath Sunday, when we will worship from home instead of gathering for our usual services. We hope this Sabbath Sunday guide will equip you reflect on the old year, and invite God into the year to come as you worship from home this weekend.
During services on December 15th, members of the BP Family were privileged to witness and celebrate the baptisms of Brian and Leah as they expressed their faith and commitment to following Jesus. Join us in celebrating by reading their baptism stories and praying for their journey as disciples.
On Sunday, November 17, we celebrated the commitment of six families to raise their children to know and love Jesus. It’s a special moment in their families, and for all of us in our BP Family as well. Celebrate with us and pray for these parents and their children!
On Sunday, November 10th, BridgePointe said goodbye to one of our Shepherds, Dave Halligan. Dave and his wife, Pam, have served in various roles over the last couple of years, caring for our BP family. Over the summer, they sensed that God was calling them to care for the spiritual walk of their children and grandchildren in a new way. This fall has been one of energy and growth for the student ministry at BridgePointe: we had our largest student event with 85 students attending Flannel Fest, and our largest mid-week gathering a couple of weeks ago with 74 students in attendance! Watching God at work among our youth has been truly inspiring, and we’re excited to share some updates and opportunities with you.
Today BridgePointe is assembling at Bristol Town Beach to celebrate baptisms. These baptisms are an outward expression of surrender and faith in the God that’s been pursuing them and restoring them through Jesus. Here are the stories of the people choosing to be baptized today. Read them and praise God with us for His work in each life. Join us in praying that these baptisms are just the starting point for each of these people.
