Shepherd Appointment

One of the Biblical images of the church in the Bible is that of a flock, with Jesus as our Shepherd. In the New Testament, we also read about God’s design for the church, with leaders put in place to work under the authority, grace, and mercy of Jesus to oversee the flock, guide it in the way it should go, and ensure that all in the church receive the care they need. At BridgePointe we adopt this language and have a leadership team called the Shepherd Team serving in the role of oversight and care for the church (you can read more about BP’s leadership structure here).
