What we do to worship God throughout the week better prepares us for Sunday morning. Do we wait until Sunday to express our love for God? Or are there things we can do during the week?
After services on October 6th members of the BP Family met the Rebelos at Crescent Park beach in Riverside to witness their baptisms. On a beautiful fall afternoon on the shore of Narragansett Bay, we heard the family declare their commitment to following Jesus together, profess their faith and be baptized. Join us in celebrating by reading their baptism stories.
Thirty-two people declared their commitment to Jesus by being baptized at our picnic and baptisms on Sunday, August 25th. We were excited to have our sisters and brothers from Iglesia Cristiana Centrados en el Evangelio church from join us and baptize four of their own. We are humbled to see God at work in the lives of those around us and hope you take a moment to read their stories and praise God for how He is rescuing and restoring.
The power of the good news of Jesus demands a response in those who hear it and accept it. And that is just what we’ve seen recently as people choose to be baptized as a sign of their commitment to live with Jesus as king of their lives. Six people were baptized at the end of services on July 7th. Here are their baptism stories in their own words.
