Small Group Baptism

We celebrate a sweet story of surrender and trust in Jesus with the Swansea Tuesday night women’s group. In the context of deep relationships built over time, and through the willingness to engage in raw and real conversations, the women were a witness to Tina B. confess her need for Jesus and take the step of obedience to be baptized as an adult. She was baptized Tuesday, July 29th in the pool where the small group met.

Read her baptism story in her own words below, and join us in praying for her in this moment. Pray that her hunger and need for Jesus would only increase, pray for protection against the spiritual attacks of the enemy, and pray that this would be a moment of joy and faithfulness for her to look back on for years to come.

Baptism Story - Tina B.

"Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles they will run and not grow weary they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31

I am as the Lord plans; I will be who the Lord says I will be.

A moment of repentance walked me into the water, surrounded by my “Woods God Spot Ladies”. Today I chose, not my parents, not tradition, but instead a choice made out of my desire to be obedient to what the Holy Spirit has asked of me. That's why I chose to be baptized. Today I am saying yes to Jesus, He is in control. He has set a table before me. He has forgiven me.  I am clean.
