Meet our new Worship Arts Director: Amber Bennett

We have been praying over the last few months that God would provide the right person to lead our worship ministry as Rachel steps away from her role of leadership in this ministry. This role impacts not only our Sunday services but also our understanding, desire, and experience of worship every day of our lives. We entered into an exploration process, prayerfully considering candidates from within and outside the church. We are excited to share that God has answered our prayers and provided for this ministry.

Amber Bennett is joining the BP Staff team as the Worship Arts Director

Amber has a passion for worship and music. She and her husband, John, felt a calling to ministry early in life and attended Bible college to prepare for a life of ministry. Music has always been a gift and passion for Amber, and the primary way she has served in volunteer roles in previous churches. John shares Amber’s passion for ministry and the church, having worked as a full-time Family Ministry Pastor for many years early in his career.

Amber and her family came to BP almost three years ago, primarily in search of a church that could support the spiritual growth of their five children. They felt welcomed right away and were drawn to the church as they saw God at work among us.

Amber is excited to step into this role and continue to build upon the strong culture of worship at BridgePointe. She feels that God has been moving in her life over the years and preparing her for this role. We praise God for the way He has gifted Amber and are excited to welcome her into this position. We are eager to see how God will use her gifts, talents, passion, and experience to help BridgePointe continue growing in our sensitivity to the Spirit and the worship of our God.
