In Remembrance

In the last couple of weeks, we have lost two members of our BridgePointe family: Brian Phillips and Marie Langlois. We grieve their death with their families and are praying for the Spirit’s comfort for all those who feel their loss. Both Brian and Marie were baptized at BridgePointe, and we are thankful that God used their time with us to impact their faith and we praise God for His faithfulness to them. Below please find their photos, links to their baptism stories and their obituaries.

Brian Phillips

November 27, 1967 - November 23, 2021

Brian had a big smile and a big heart. He was tender and compassionate to those around him. We remember how proud Brian was to introduce his daughter Samantha to us on the day of his baptism. In taking the step of baptism, Brian set an example of faith that he longed for his family to follow. We all will miss seeing his smile on Sundays.

MArie Langlois

August 26, 1948 - December 2, 2021

Marie started coming to BridgePointe in 2016 and was baptized in 2017. The first time that Marie came to serve on the First Impressions team on Sunday, Keith explained to Marie how best to great people — to be friendly and present but to also give guests some space if they needed it. The doors opened, Marie was ready to serve, and she greeted the first person who came in with a big embrace and a kiss on the cheek! Not exactly what Keith was asking for, but that was 100% Marie — a big heart and no qualms about showing it.
