Pop-Up Egg Hunts

  • BRIDGEPOINTE CENTER 855 Waterman Avenue East Providence, RI, 02914 United States (map)

We’re surprising our community with a pop-up egg hunt in ten East Providence parks on Saturday, March 27th:

Locations:

East Providence

Riverside:

Rumford

Details:

  • Due to COVID we can't have our usual large-scale Egghunt event

  • Instead, we have free pop-up egg hunts in ten East Providence parks.

  • Our volunteers will hide eggs ALL OVER the park

  • Starting at 10am, you can get a bag from our volunteers and hunt for eggs.

  • We ask for each child to hunt for about a dozen eggs so more families can take part.

  • Help us by social distancing and wearing a mask when you are within 6 feet of people.

  • Our volunteers will be on hand facilitating. We ask that you give them space to hide the eggs, respect their guidance. Please understand that this is a first-come-first-served hunt and there's not much we can do about it!

  • We hope some Easter fun will bring some joy after a crazy year. See you Saturday!

This is an outreach event for our community!

  • It’s a chance for families and people at BridgePointe to have fun putting on an event for others.

  • It’s a chance to give our community some Easter fun AND share a simple invitation to join us for Easter or any other Sunday.

  • We want our community to know there’s a church in town that loves them and wants them to know the hope we have in Jesus!

Donate Candy

We’re collecting donations of individually wrapped Easter candies through March 21st. Help us meet our goal of 140 bags of candy, or 28,000 pieces of candy! You can drop off donations in the lobby on Sunday or during the week. Questions? Email Taylor

Volunteer

We need 40-60 volunteers to help make this event a reality. We’re grouping two families, or six adults at each location. As is the norm right now, we’ll be wearing masks and social distancing for everyone’s safety.

When you sign up to volunteer, here’s what your day will look like:

  • Start at BP at 9:00 am where your team will get an Egg Hunt kit with signage, eggs, bags, invites and a How-To sheet with your location and directions.

  • Set up and hide 1,200 eggs at your location!

  • Hang out for a couple of hours handing out egg hunt bags and interacting with people.

  • Clean up and drop back trash and supplies to BP.

We hope you’re as excited as we are to get out into our community and make this happen!
