January Baptisms

In January we had baptisms three of the four Sundays in the month! Here's a cool story: Jacob Vangen, our Student Pastor, and Destiney Martin, a student leader in The Bridge, baptized student Destiney Peixoto on January 19th. The next weekend, both Destineys baptized Tatiana, another student and friend of Destiney Peixoto! Practicing A Day of Rest

Practicing a day of rest, like any practice from Jesus, takes trust, submission and well…practice. Scripture reading or prayer aren’t mastered on the first try, and a day of rest is the same. Learning anything takes time, patience and persistence. My wife Jordan and I started practicing a day of rest about a year ago. We’re still figuring it out but we are so thankful we took the leap to rest.

BP Students: Fall Retreat 2019

Fall retreat is always a ton of fun - we share meals, play capture the flag, go hiking and stay up late in our cabins. In our group sessions, we talked about how to live as students of Jesus. Not students in the homework and class sense of the word, but in a way which reorients our entire lives around being with Jesus, being like Jesus and living like he did.
