We were blessed to have six families dedicate their children this past Sunday, May 19th at the end of the third service. Child dedications are a way for parents to publicly come before their church family and the Lord to voice their commitment to raise their child God's way as so beautifully described in Deuteronomy chapter six:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” – Deuteronomy 6:5-7
As parents commit to take this step, they don’t want to do this without the support of their church family. At the child dedication, we are invited to pray for these parents as they commit to raise their children to know and love Jesus, and to partner with them and encourage them all along the way.
Celebrate with us by reading the parent’s prayers and Scripture verses they chose for their children. And if you are a part of the BP Family, please join us in supporting and praying for these parents and their children!

Proverbs 22:6 is the scripture I remember when I look at my daughter.
I always tell myself that God always knows what I need before I even do and He clearly knew I needed my daughter. I believe that God gave me my precious child as a way to say that He is here and taking care of me. Since having my daughter, my relationship with God has never been stronger.
I want to dedicate my daughter today, because I want her to grow up knowing and feeling as loved as I did growing up.
I can already see that she feels loved by God! One beautiful example, is the way she worships with us in service, as she tries to sing along, putting her little hand up in service. I want to help her grow in her relationship with God. I want her to know that she can always rely on God to be there for her.
Sweet girl, I pray that you always walk alongside God your whole life, and know how truly deeply loved you are and will always be. “Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift.” (2 Corinthians 9:15)

Father God, we thank you for the most gracious gift you could ever give us, our incredible son James C Franco V. We dedicate and present him to You and vow to raise him to live with Jesus as King. We pray that You grant us the love, grace, wisdom, and strength to raise our son to follow Your will for him and help him to grow as a disciple of Jesus. We rejoice for the life of our baby Jamie. Surround him with goodness and love to grow in your ways. Amen

God is hope, truth, love, wisdom, constant and a firm foundation for me. I pray this for Penelope. I pray her foundation in knowing and loving God to be stronger than anything else. I pray her to know that she’s never alone in this world and that she will always have God to turn to when she needs Him and He will always make her paths straight. In Jesus’s name, amen.

My wife Sheena and I have been married for seven years. We have three beautiful children, Sophia, Hunter, and Penny. We are so blessed and thankful to be a part of God’s family. We are a young parents and have appreciated all the love and support given and shown by the BridgePointe family.
