The COVID-19 Crisis has interrupted our lives in ways we never imagined. Through it all, we want you to know: we are here for you. We are live-streaming on Sundays, our Groups have moved online, and our staff is working hard to provide the same level of support we have previously — it just might look a little different right now.
BridgePointe’s Outreach Leadership Team is working to identify how our larger outreach initiatives, like the Back to School Fair, can be adjusted to best serve the community at this time. We will keep you updated with care projects as we identify and mobilize to meet need and bless our community.
If you have been blessed and can give above your regular giving, consider giving to our two care projects: Care for Nursing Home Staff and Care for Teachers. If you have questions or have other ways you can help us support our community, please reach out to Taylor Perkins, our outreach administrator.
MEALS FOR STAFF AT ORCHARD VIEW MANOR
Help us provide a full day of meals (in the first week of May) to encourage and support the Orchard View staff during this crisis. If we collect more than we need, we will reach out and bless other nursing homes in East Providence.
Update: Since Orchard View Manor was the recipient of a generous Go Fund Me, they directed us to provide meals for another local nursing home. We are providing a meal for 121 staff members at Waterview Villa. Thank you for your help in making this happen!

ELEMENTARY TEACHER CELEBRATION
BridgePointe has a long-standing relationship with the elementary schools in East Providence. Our annual Back to School Fair has been a key outreach event for the church since 2013. We want to come alongside teachers and administrators to show our support for persevering at this time. We have planned a drive-through teacher appreciation event at the end of May to thank and support our local K-5 teachers and administrators who have gone above and beyond to provide distance learning during this crisis.
Help us provide a grab-and-go lunch and appreciation gift bag to local teachers by donating.
