BP Students: New Hampshire Mission Trip

BridgePointe sent 11 high school students and 4 adult leaders to work with Restoration House Ministries in Manchester, New Hampshire the last week in June. Restoration House starts new churches in communities all across New England. At this time they’ve planted over 20 churches - including BridgePointe!

Students explored and served churches in Merrimack, Salem and Manchester, NH and traveled all the way to EastPoint Christian Church in Portland, ME. They were able to witness firsthand what God is doing in these churches. Although each church looks a little different they all have the same mission - to make disciples of Jesus which transform lives and communities. Students served these churches by painting walls, removing tile, handing out popsicles to the community and even getting down and dirty pulling debris from the mud. Through their contribution they were able to play a part in helping these churches advance the Gospel.

A highlight of the week was helping a single mom move into her own apartment. A victim of abuse, she was connected to Movement Christian Church, and somebody in the church offered their home to her. She soon gave her life to Jesus and began experiencing His new life. Movement worked with local organizations to help the mom and baby find their own apartment. Our students had the opportunity to be part of her story as they worked in the summer heat to move her into a home where she and her baby can thrive. The gratitude she expressed couldn’t begin to match the joy our students found in serving her.

At BridgePointe we believe students can make a difference today as they follow Jesus. Not only are they the leaders of the future; they are the leaders of today. We are so proud to see our students serve like Jesus and show people the love of Jesus. Our hope and prayer for all of our students is that they live a vibrant life in Jesus and experience purpose through extending His Kingdom wherever they go.

BridgePointe’s Student Ministry is a place where students can have fun, know they belong and follow Jesus. If you have a middle school or high school student, or want to learn more about what we do, check out our Student Page.
