#7: Don't Commit Adultery

Our Lifesaver series has been taking us through the 10 commandments, and it was unavoidable that we'd end up on number seven. We hope you've had a chance to listen to the two part message "Don't Commit Adultery" to best understand the context in which God gave this command, as well as how to identify and deal with sexual sin.

Because God is faithful, He desires for His people to be faithful to our human commitments. Of those, marriage is the most sacred and precious. God gave sex as the physical experience of the holistic oneness shared within marriage. Sex and marriage were always intended to go together. Therefore, we must trust God's commands and pursue sexual purity and marital faithfulness. We should aim to obey God's commands and trust His grace when we fall short of them.

Below are some resources that can help and support you in dealing with sexual sin.
