Child Dedication - November 17
On Sunday, November 17, we celebrated the commitment of six families to raise their children to know and love Jesus. It’s a special moment in their families, and for all of us in our BP Family as well. Celebrate with us and pray for these parents and their children!
Tiago & Angela dedicated Lorelai
We reflect on a verse that holds deep significance for the women of our family: “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come” (Proverbs 31:25).
This verse has been a source of comfort and inspiration for generations of women in our family, reminding us to stand strong in God’s promises and to face life’s challenges with grace and joy.
Our prayer is that Lorelei, too, will grow to embody this truth. May she become a young woman of strength and dignity, filled with faith and courage, always finding joy in the journey God has set before her.
We dedicate Lorelei so that she will grow up in the presence of Jesus and His love. Our greatest desire is for her to know Him deeply and love Him fully. We pray that she will walk closely with the Lord, trusting in His guidance, and that her heart will be shaped by His grace and truth.”
Paul & Marissa dedicated Eliana
“ I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.” And he worshiped the Lord there.” — 1 Samuel 1:27-28
We are beyond blessed that our daughter is such a beautiful, joyful spirit and we promise to raise her according to God’s Will with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the help of our loved ones who care so deeply for her.
Michael & Ashley dedicated Bodie
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:11-13 NIV
We acknowledge our son belongs to God and want to take this time to celebrate the wonderful gift He has blessed us with.
Stephen & Bethany dedicated Nora
Bethany and I are choosing to dedicate our daughter Nora to our Savior, Jesus Christ, for multiple reasons. The first reason is that Jesus has saved both of us from a life of sin and we want to bring our daughter up with the purity and word of God in her heart. Secondly, we are choosing to dedicate Nora to Jesus because she truly is a gift from Him. Nora came into our lives at a time where we needed her the most. Seeing her beautiful face every day is symbolic to the love that Bethany and I share together. Dedicating Nora to Jesus will instill His love into her heart, along with her growing up in a household where she is able to see the love her parents have for God, each other, and her alike, and teach her the foundations of connection and love for when she grows into her life.
Matt & Lili dedicated Abigail
As we introduce Abigail, first and foremost we want to thank our Lord Jesus for this beautiful gift. We prayed for this moment, and knew when the time was right the Lord would bless us like he has.
Samuel 1:27 says “I prayed for this child, and the Lord has given me my petition which I asked of him”
We know that moving forward, we won’t forget how blessed we are. And we’ll do everything in our power to raise her right, in the eyes of Jesus our King. And trust in the Lord that if we set her on the right path, Jesus will guide her like the words of Jeremiah 29:11: “I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Vinny & Nicole dedicated Sienna
My husband and I our dedicating our daughter, Sienna Olivia St. Angelo because we want her to see the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus, to love him, and one day receive him as her Lord and Savior. The Bible scripture we chose is Proverbs 3 verses 4:5, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight.”
