BPYTH Update & Student Sponsorships
This fall has been one of energy and growth for the student ministry at BridgePointe: we had our largest student event with 85 students attending Flannel Fest, and our largest mid-week gathering a couple of weeks ago with 74 students in attendance! Watching God at work among our youth has been truly inspiring, and we’re excited to share some updates and opportunities with you.
New Wednesday format and rebrand
We've decided to make some adjustments to our ministry structure to create an even more welcoming and engaging environment for all students. Along with a change in time and structure, we’ve changed our name from BP Students to BP Youth! We have a new logo, t-shirts for the kids and we hope the energy of this rebrand excites our youth and matches the forward momentum we see in the ministry.
Our weekly Wednesday meeting schedule has been reimagined to allow for a more relaxed and fluid evening, with extended time for games, worship, and teaching. We now meet from 6:30 - 8 pm for large group, followed by small group time from 8 - 8:30 pm. This new format is designed to be more inclusive and appealing to both our regular attendees and newcomers alike. New visitors get to experience the large group without the intimidation of the small group discussion time with people they don’t know. And for those students who want to dive deeper into discussions and build stronger connections, the small group sessions immediately following our main gathering is a place to do just that. This adjustment provides a fantastic opportunity for more focused spiritual growth and community building.
Upcoming Winter Retreat: Deep Freeze
We're excited for our winter retreat, Deep Freeze coming up in January. This retreat promises to be an unforgettable experience of spiritual growth, fellowship, and fun. It's a perfect opportunity for students to deepen their faith and forge lasting friendships.
Sponsor a Student
We believe that every student should have the chance to attend Deep Freeze, regardless of their financial situation. That's why we have student sponsorship opportunities that will give a student the ability to attend this life-changing retreat. If you would like to support our youth by contributing to our sponsorship fund, we welcome you to make a donation.
Looking Ahead
We're incredibly excited about this new chapter in our youth ministry. We will keep working to create more opportunities for students to become disciples of Jesus and grow in their faith. We believe that by adapting and evolving, we can reach more young people and make an even bigger impact in their lives. Join us in praying to that end!
