Student Retreat: Berea 2023

Our recent trip to Berea with the BP Student Group was a successful and transformative experience. We grew in our faith, made new friends, had fun, and helped students take steps to commit their lives to Jesus. It was a truly transformative experience and one that we will always cherish. Here are some of the highlights of our trip:

Spiritual Growth
The primary purpose of the retreat was to provide a space for young believers to grow in their faith. Through worship, sermon sessions, and small group discussions, we were able to deepen our understanding of God's Word and learn practical ways to apply it to our daily lives.

Fellowship
One of the best things about the retreat was allowing our students to meet other young people who share our faith. Our students were able to build friendships with other believers from different churches and communities and found that they had a lot in common. It was amazing to see how God works in each of their lives and to encourage each other in their faith journeys.

Fun Activities
The retreat also included some fun activities, such as games, sports, and outdoor adventures. These activities gave us a chance to let loose and have some fun while also building relationships with each other. It was great to see everyone laughing, enjoying themselves, and knowing we could have fun while still honoring God.

Leadership Development
Another aspect of the retreat was leadership development. Our ministry team had the opportunity to learn from experienced youth leaders, who taught us how to lead and serve in our churches and communities. This experience helped us develop our leadership skills and gain confidence in our ability to impact the world positively.

Attending a student ministry retreat can be a life-changing experience for a young person. It's an opportunity to disconnect from the world's distractions and focus on your relationship with God. If you're a parent of a 6th -12th grader or young person looking to grow in your faith, I highly recommend attending our next retreat or student ministry trip. You never know how God might work in your life through the experience!
