Give Love Away 2022

As we’ve been learning in our teaching series this year, part of being a disciple is actively bringing Jesus’ Kingdom to earth through how we live and what we do. We want to be a church that shares God’s love with those around us. Our Give Love Away campaign during the month of February highlights several opportunities for us to put our love into action and make a difference in the lives of those around us.

Here are a few opportunities you can get involved in to help bring God’s Kingdom to Earth.

Baby Bottle Drive
Harmony Women’s Care (CareNet-RI) is gearing up for their best year yet! They opened a new clinic, have a new name, and a new vision for ending the demand for abortion in Rhode Island. Take home a bottle, fill it with change, and return it by February 27th and know that your support is helping women choose life.

Blessing Bags
We are collecting supplies for Mathewson Street Church, a community partner in Providence that works to fight against homelessness & food security.  Please pick up a blessing bag  with checklist from BridgePointe, and bring the bag filled with supplies by February 27th.

Good Neighbors Supply Drive
Due to the pandemic, Good Neighbors soup kitchen continues to be closed and they have no volunteer opportunities in person yet. As we wait for that opportunity to return we are serving them by collecting non-perishable food items to provide support to their food bank in Riverside.

Operation Valentine
We are partnering with the Rotary of EP/Seekonk to send valentines to local senior citizen residents in elderly housing. Families are encouraged to get their kids involved. Pick up a valentine kit from the lobby, decorate and write an encouraging note to spread the love of Jesus. Kits can be picked up January 18th-30th. Please return by February 10th.

We hope there’s an initiative you can take part in, and if not, find your own way to give love away and let us know what you did!
