Baptism Story: Donna C.
Donna C. chose to be baptized as an expression of faith in Jesus and her desire to live with Him as King. Here is her story in her own words:
“I was baptized as an infant and brought up by mom and dad in the Catholic Church. As a child, I attended mass and made my sacraments. Growing into adulthood, I raised my children Catholic, as well. They are now beautiful adults with families of their own.
At this time in may life, I began to do a lot of thinking. I just felt like something in my life was missing and I wanted to fill a spiritual void. I was still attending Catholic mass with my husband. My son-in-law, Nelson, and daughter, Laura, invited me to attend a Sunday service at Bridgepointe Christian Church. I enjoyed it tremendously and did return to many services after. I now would like to consider myself a part of the BridgePointe family.
When I leave a Sunday service, I truly feel the Holy Spirit has lifted me up with true happiness to become the person I longed to be.
In my journey, I have attended a Bible study and a Baptism Lab. I truly enjoyed listening to the Bible verses through our wonderful pastor, Jared.
I have felt blessed throughout my life. Attending Bridgepointe Christian Church leaves my heart full of love for our Lord Jesus Christ.
Today, I come forward to renew my faith in baptism and pledge my allegiance to walk in the path of our Lord.”
