We want to be a church that shares God’s love with those around us. We do this through our big outreach events like the Egg Hunt and Back to School fair, and we do it individually when we pray that God would give us one person to share His love with. Our Give Love Away campaign during the month of February provides several opportunities for us to put our love into action and make a difference in the lives of those around us.

Virtual Baby Bottle Drive

CareNet pregnancy centers provide clients with services such as ultrasounds, pre and post abortion counseling, baby supplies and much more.

Good Neighbors Supply Drive

We’re collecting supplies for our community partner Good Neighbors in Riverside as they work hard to assist those in need in our community . We are collecting hygiene supplies and non-perishable food items for Good Neighbors. Email Taylor with questions, and drop off donations in the lobby.

Hugs for Seniors

We are partnering with Waterview Villa to send Valentines to residents. The Valentines are addressed and have postage. You can pick up a Valentine mailer from the lobby, write a Valentine on the blank note card provided and mail it to Waterview.

Then on February 19th, for National Caregivers Day, we’ll be sending donuts and coffee to the staff at Waterview Villa. Contact Taylor if you would like to help.

Sojourn’s Polar Plunge

Our ministry partner Sojourn Collegiate Ministry is holding a virtual Polar Plunge this month to raise funds to fight sex trafficking. Visit their website www.insanityforhumanityri.com to find out how you can do something insane to make a difference for others.

Blood Drive

February 23 | 4:00 - 8:00 pm
We are partnering with the Rhode Island Blood Center to sponsor a Blood Drive at BridgePointe from 4-8 pm. Help us show love to those around us by signing up to donate blood.   

We hope there’s an initiative you can take part in, and if not, find your own way to give love away this month. Find a way to make an act of kindness, to show love to a neighbor, and when you do, tell them you’re a part of a church that loves them because we believe there’s a God that loves them even more. Join us in praying that those around us will believe in God’s love a little more because of our actions. Now go find a way to give love away!
