Families Helping Families
Help BP Kids and Students share God’s love with families in our community. After a successful food drive to benefit local food pantries last year, BP’s Family Ministry is working with two of our community partners on the following initiatives this fall:
We are partnering with the East Providence Public Schools to provide Thanksgiving baskets to 8-10 local families. BridgePointe is buying the turkeys, but we’re looking for the following donations to help fill out the baskets:
A box of mashed potatoes
A box of stuffing with gravy packets
One can of corn, yams, cranberries, and green beans
A pumpkin or apple pie
Bags of tea or apple cider packets
A carton of shelf-stable almond, rice, or soy milk
Canned soups
A box of cornbread mix
Gift cards to grocery stores

Foster Forward works to support foster families in the state of Rhode Island and their mission is to empower lives impacted by foster care. As you get your closets winter-ready, look for any coats for infants right on up to high-schoolers that are in good condition or buy a new coat and bless a family this winter with your donation.
Donation Deadline: November 15th
Please bring Thanksgiving basket and coat donations to BridgePointe by Sunday, Nov. 15th. You can drop off on Sunday, or come during the week. You can also call us if you’d like us to come to your car in the parking lot to receive your donation.
