Student Baptism: Leda's Story
Wednesday’s student group had it all - fun and games, laughter and sharing, and a teen taking a big step. High school student Leda decided to be baptized as an expression of her faith in Jesus. Over forty middle school and high school students, all part of her faith community witnessed and celebrated with her. Keep the students of The Bridge in prayer - God is at work among them!
Leda’s baptism story:
“Before committing my life to Jesus I just felt lost, and didn’t really care for God. I didn’t want to believe He was real. I felt that I should be able to do what I wanted to. I decided to pursue Jesus when I came to BridgePointe. I realized that I was loved deeply by Him and that I could always trust Him! I’ve decided to commit to Jesus through baptism today because I’ve learned to fully accept Him and love Him. I feel that I can come to Him whenever I need to and that I can trust Him always. I’m most excited that I can have a great community with people who will follow him too and that I can always be motivated to love Jesus together and continue to thrive in my faith.”
