Miles came into the world on Sept 11 and some of our greatest fears became reality. He was born with holes in his heart and a potential diagnosis of Down's syndrome. We prayed for God's supernatural healing in his body but learned through the past six months that God would use a surgeon's hands to repair Miles' heart. The miraculous healing we had prayed for actually happened in our own hearts as we learned that only when trusting in God through our struggle, sorrow turns to joy, anxiety to anticipation and our greatest fears can become His greatest blessings in our lives. Miles was diagnosed with Down's syndrome on Feb 27 and his heart was repaired by open heart surgery on March 3. We thank God for entrusting us with his little life, for filling our family w so much joy, for turning our fears into great blessings. We are thankful for our church and are committed to raising Miles to know Jesus in community with our friends and family at BridgePointe.
